Feedback on Holy Island retreat, May 2014

Great customer feedback from everyone who came on the May 2014 retreat. Here's a selection of their comments.

"The weekend of birdwatching and Christian faith worked really well and was a truly memorable and uplifting experience. The agape meal at Emmanuel Head was particularly special in such wonderful and spectacular surroundings. Many thanks to all."
Ron & Jane Gold, Corbridge

"A most enjoyable and valuable experience. It was a great to see a wide range of different birds and there were many highlights: the Grey Plover on Holy Island; the Lesser Yellowlegs near the Arctic Tern and Little Tern colonies at the Long Nanny reserve; the visit to Stag Rocks, to name just a few. The use of The Open Gate as a place to stay was excellent."
Tim Cosford, Bolton

"Mark, I would like to thank you for a wonderful weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects (including the delicious cake!). The balance was excellent and I very much hope to come again in the autumn."
Joanna Thompson, London

For my part as the leader, this first weekend retreat since 2008 went really well. We saw a good range of birds, enjoyed beautiful scenery, had fun together as a group and experienced God's presence in our worship. As I wrote in my blog just afterwards, it all went well, no doubt in part due to prayer. I am already looking forward to November and the retreats planned for next year.
